Read Palestine is a reference built from books about Palestine. Each book is read from its first page to its last, and every claim here names the book it comes from and the page where it appears.
Start with the Palestine, which brings the books together, or browse the Catalog of sources, people, places, events, documents and ideas.
How to read a page
A citation such as (Zionist Colonialism in Palestine, PDF p.2-5 / printed p.207-210) gives the book and its pages. “PDF p.” counts pages in the digital copy of the book; “printed p.” is the number printed on the page itself.
Pages report what each book says and whose claim it is. Where two books disagree, or a book contradicts itself, the page keeps both versions, and each book’s own page lists these conflicts under Open questions.
Text in quotation marks is the book’s exact wording.
